Back in December, one of my dear friends gave me flowers for my birthday. It was such a simple gesture, but I remember how loved and special I felt every time I looked at that bouquet. Since then, I’ve started doing a little thing for myself—about once a month, when I’m at the grocery store, I pick up some fresh flowers.
